Industry veteran David Wilson leads The Caravan Group with unmatched experience across service, sales and manufacturing.
From his beginnings in service, warranty and repairs, progressing to roles as Dealer Principal of one of Australia's largest sales centres, and then ultimately progressing to serving as a Managing Director.

Frequently asked questions - before you buy
Drive RV caravans are made in our Officer South factory right here in Victoria, Australia. We use local suppliers and employ local people and businesses to produce our caravans. They are made from the ground up, not flat-packed and then fitted out here and claimed to be Australian-made.
No. Our reputable dealer network works exclusively with the factory. Drive RV does not receive funds from your purchase until the caravan is built and the dealership has taken delivery. A 5-10% deposit is usually paid when you sign with the dealership, with the balance due at handover.
We do not offer factory-direct purchases at Drive RV.
Fibreglass sandwich panel with XPS foam is lightweight and extremely strong compared with other caravan-building techniques.
Traditional timber walls and roofs are prone to water ingress, which can cause major damage, costly repairs, mould and other issues associated with rotted timber. Sandwich panel also looks great and is easy to maintain and keep clean.
Drive RV chassis are made by ARV Chassis in Epping, Victoria. They use Australian steel and are engineered and welded here in Australia to handle Australian conditions.
The full process – taking your order, confirming plans and design, sourcing parts and completing the build – can take several weeks. Once everything is in place and all parts are available, the physical build takes approximately one to two weeks from start to finish.

Absolutely. Warranty support should travel with you while you enjoy your caravan. If something goes wrong, contact the factory and we will work with an authorised repairer to get you back on the road as soon as possible.
